Who do we work with?

We work with schools, usually primary schools.

We work with universities or further education programmes.

What do we do?

We train any teaching staff who are required to teach or support school swimming lessons.

We train students undertaking their Initial Teaching Training (ITT) programme who will be required to teach or support school swimming lessons, now or in the future.

Why do we do it?

We understand that school staff may often lack confidence when faced with teaching school swimming.

In addition, they are expected to plan and deliver lessons in a potentially hazardous environment whilst also striving to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum (2013).

This is where we come in.

We are not only a company that supports the health and development of children but people as professionals. We give educators the skills and confidence they need in order to carry out safe and effective school swimming lessons.

About us

2Pool 4School was created by qualified primary school teacher, Ethan Scrutton, in 2024.

We provide hands-on CPD training and support to current and prospective school staff, to teach or support school swimming.

Our services and resources are designed to not only support the health and development of children but people as professionals. We give educators the tools and resources in order to confidently teach or support school swimming lessons.
