The course was well-organised, with a good balance of theory and practical advice that I can easily apply in my swimming teaching. Ethan, was highly knowledgeable and approachable. He presented the material clearly and answered questions with useful examples. I found the focus on water safety particularly useful which has given me more confidence in creating a safe environment for pupils. The workshop was engaging and interactive, and the resources provided will be very helpful when planning and delivering swimming lessons. Overall, the course has made me feel much more confident about teaching swimming.

I would highly recommend this course. The course leader had a lovely welcoming manner and was very enthusiastic about swimming and the skills children need. He was very helpful throughout and we were able to practise the skills using floats and noodles. He was very knowledgable. The booklet that we got is ideal. Explanations are clear and concise and each skill has a QR code to watch a video of the skill if we forget. Easy to share with staff at school and will help us to feel confident going forward. The workshop was very informative and provided me with useful knowledge on how to teach and support swimming going forward, especially as an ECT with no prior swimming teaching experience. The workbook included is a great resource to have, particularly as it includes QR codes for each activity that link to a video demonstrating how to perform each one and with what it should look like when done correctly in the water.

This was a great course to be a part of. The resources we have been given will vastly improve the teaching during the school swimming lessons. Ethan had us all practise and demonstrate the strokes and skills. He ran us though all the coaching points to help us improve on the techniques.
